Carolyn Torres-Mabe graduated in 2001 with her law degree from Emory School of Law. She practiced criminal defense in DeKalb County, Georgia for the first six years of her legal career where she gained countless hours of courtroom experience.
In 2007, Carolyn changed her focus to family law and has since exclusively practiced family law. After spending ten years practicing in a large family law firm and being a partner at a small family law firm, Carolyn proudly opened her own practice, Mabe Family Law, in 2018.
She has the training, experience, and temperament to handle all aspects of family law, including matters such as divorce, child custody, child support, legitimation, modifications, contempt, and more. She represents clients through all aspects of the case, from settlement negotiations, through litigation, during mediation, and at trial. Carolyn is admitted to practice in the State and Superior Courts of Georgia; Georgia Court of Appeals, and Georgia Supreme Court.
Carolyn combines legal expertise with personal knowledge. She is a mother, a wife, and a stepmother. She navigates many family law issues in her own life. This enables her to guide her clients through a challenging and emotional time with sensitivity and experience.
